Prior to setting up A.T. Computing Services Ltd. I worked in accounts offices in manufacturing industries, later taking on the role as computer systems manager

My career was focussed on manufacturing and cost control for SMEs, helping the management team achieve significant profitability improvement.

This period was spent at a tap manufacturing company which was part of an American multi-national organisation, followed by a tin can manufacturer which was also part of an American multi-national and finally a family owned electrical fittings manufacturer with an associated architectural hardware company.

During this period I was deeply involved in standard costing and the generation of variance analysis to enable cost improvement projects to be identified and put into place.
